Snap & Read Universal In Stock Now

Snap&Read Universal reads both accessible and inaccessible text aloud from websites, images, photographs, PDFs, web-based tests, and more. Snap&Read also adjusts complex text to be more readable and allows you to capture information and cite your sources. You can even take a picture and have the text within that picture read aloud.

HOW DOES SNAP&READ WORK?
Once the Safari extension is turned on, you can send any website to Snap&Read to have it read aloud (which highlights word-by-word as text is spoken to make it easy to track). Even inaccessible images with text can be read aloud through the screenshot reader tool.

If difficult vocabulary is too challenging, Snap&Read can dynamically level the text. Essentially, Snap&Read will pick out the difficult words/phrases and swap them out for easier to comprehend vocabulary/phrases. To see the original word, just tap on it to toggle between the original word and the simplified word. You can customize the difficulty of words Snap&Read will simplify with six levels of text complexity.

THIS...
"The Time Traveller was expounding a recondite matter to us."
BECOMES...
"The Time Traveller was explaining an unknown matter to us."

While reading, capturing and synthesizing information from the text is easy with the built-in study tools. Highlight text and move it into an outline or capture your notes in the outline. Anything highlighted will automatically be cited in APA, Chicago, and MLA formats. For other information (like books or magazines read through the camera feature), a citation wizard will help you cite it manually and Snap&Read will take care of all the formatting.

There are even outline templates that can either help guide the reading process or prepare you to capture important details to move into writing.

Finally, if you have paper, you can use the Camera feature to take a picture and read. If you’re on the go and don’t want to bring your books… you can save the images to your picture library and access them all later right from the Snap&Read App even if you have no internet connection.
